FREE SOLO EXHIBITION PROPOSAL
Submission Deadline: November 4, 2018
The Untitled Space invites artists to apply for a solo exhibition to take place at the gallery in Tribeca, New York in 2019. Throughout 2019 The Untitled Space gallery will be presenting a series of solo exhibitions focusing on artists with an exceptional body of work that has not been previously exhibited. This is a unique opportunity to gain invaluable exposure of your artwork, and work with internationally recognized gallery director, Indira Cesarine, who will be curating the exhibitions. Artists should have an established exhibition track record, and the focus of the proposal should be on new, unexhibited work. All proposals must include an artist bio, artist statement, images for each submitted artwork as well as documentation on any proposed new works, a project statement, and links to previous exhibitions. Please read all submission guidelines carefully. Keep in mind that artists submitting a majority of new, previously unexhibited work will be prioritized. All mediums will be considered.
The Untitled Space will coordinate with the artist for the best timing of their exhibition, which will run for a minimum of 2 weeks. The exhibition will be curated by gallery director Indira Cesarine, who will work directly with the artist to select final artwork for exhibition. The gallery will host an opening reception for the artist, as well as post the exhibition on Artsy as well as other sites to promote the artwork. Expenses including the installation, opening reception, exhibition marketing and staffing as well as of course the gallery venue will be provided by The Untitled Space. All details will be finalized directly with the artist to insure the best possible experience for the gallery and artist to have a successful exhibition. Artists who submit may also be considered for future opportunities with The Untitled Space gallery.
The gallery space available for the exhibition includes approximately 100ft of linear wall space for hanging artwork, as well as 8 pedestals (12″ x 12″ x 40″). We additionally have available a projector, an Electric Objects monitor (white) for video / digital display and 3 iPads which can be mounted for digital / video works.
