I am a long time photographer who only shot film and resisted going digital for many years.  After much insistence by a good friend, I took the plunge.  One day I came across a process called HDR and thought it had a lot of potential for me.  I always wanted to make my photos look different and unique and I love what HDR allows me to do.  I have since found other what I call recipes and have incorporated them into my images.  I call one of these "Tinted Black and White".  In this process, after much work, I turn the photo into black and white and add back selective color.  I am really enjoying this process.

My Heaven and Earth Series of paintings are inspired by my beautiful parents. They are in Heaven with God now and are lighting my way. We strive to find who we are and why we are here on Earth. We look for love and peace. The colors of my paintings are inspired by the Old Master's landscapes. My brush style is free and represents the freedom we all have to choose our journey and final destination.

My artwork is a combination of intuition and discovery within the digital medium. By combining floral images within synthetic environments, I transform an emotional and spiritual vocabulary to a pictorial image. I have been intrigued by the mysterious structure of flowers, and also I have found that the frailty and sensuality of flowers are similar to that of my own. My artistic goal is to explore this versatile digital technology to achieve magnificent beauty.
