|Won Sil Kim|
The End of An Old Memory
27" x 24" Photo Collage & acrylic paint on Acrylic Sheet
Won Sil Kim’s body of work is largely informed by her rural environment mountain side of Los Angeles. The sensations of morning fog, wildfires, the smell of manure, and fields of grass are external occurrences that unfold into the creation of Kim’s abstracted landscapes. The added use of industrial elements and collage build a dynamic relationship between image and object.
